A Brief History About D.G.T

Welcome to a Brief D.G.T History!

Featuring, well, a lil' bit of history about me.

First Steps

An image of a Lego® Minecraft™ stop motion made me.
A single frame of my finest Lego® Minecraft™ stop motion.

Have you ever wondered how I got into this mess? Well I'm not really sure where it started, but I do recall making tons of drawings, books, and even Word documents with Super Mario™ pictures from the internet when I was a little lad. However, the start that I remember the best is with making stop motions, as that introduced me to fancier filmmaking techniques and got me interested in the world of using computers to make visuals.

Second Steps

Like most folk, I eventually got tired of creating stop motions and wanted to do something new and fresh. That's when I discovered an ancient version of Photoshop and began making some really crude compositions. My brother noticed this, and asked me if it would be possible to create a comic or something from a random conversation he had - and thus, Waluigi Misfits was born and here is the very first and almost original page of it. While it doesn't look very impressive, it was the start to a series of comics that helped me practice and improve my skills in image compositing, vector design, and even 3D animation.

Grand Finale

While I did create various designs, image compositions, and videos during my free time and as a result had some experience in those areas, it was now time to take it up to a professional level. So I finished school, and went straight into paid school (A.K.A post-secondary education). Here's some design I created during that time from oldest to newest:

  1. Pulse Games Logo
    The Pulse Games logo.
  2. Gamer For Life Badge
A badge with the text Gamer for Life.
  3. Super Mario™ Isometric House
Mario's house from the Paper Mario games in an isometric design.

Nothing but some vector designs, as those are still my favourite designs. Anyhow, that's all for now. Thanks for reading!
